MacNet

MacNet became a reality in 1994 through the efforts of a group of forward thinking citizens who had a desire for their community to have an affordable way to communicate with each other and the rest of the world. These trailblazers volunteered hundreds of hours and their expertise in fund raising, law, business, and technology to create their vision of a local internet connection affordable to all.

As technology has rapidly changed MacNet can no longer afford to remain cutting edge on its own. Also, the original mission of providing a service where there was none has been accomplished. It is with pride that the Board of MacMedia says "well done" to the Founders of MacNet and celebrates the merge with Iserv to continue to provide our customers with the best possible service.

Iserv continues to support the mission of MacMedia by donating a portion of revenues received from MacNet customers to MacMedia. New customers who sign up for a @macatawa.org e-mail will also be supporting MacMedia.
